wp2a24dfa0.jpg OpenMI Standard compliancy XML file writer

In order to claim that a software component is OpenMI-compliant such a component must be accepted by the OpenMI Association. Request for acceptance must be accompanied by an OpenMI compliance info XML file, which describes the component. Details about this file are given in the OpenMI Standard.

Creating the compliance info file can be a tedious process, especially if your component provides and/or accepts many exchange items. However, most of the information needed to generate the compliance info file can be obtained through the OpenMI standard interface (e.g. all details about exchange items).

The OpenMI Standard compliancy XML file writer simply loads your OpenMI component and extracts information for the compliancy XML file directly through the OpenMI standard interface. A few items, such as contact info and availability must be provided manually by the user (see figure).
